At this facility, the assembler role is responsible for the day-to-day production and packaging of components used in our medical devices. You will be a key member of a manufacturing team that is dedicated to safety, quality, continuous improvement, and achieving production goals. You will be working in a clean room manufacturing environment that requires personal protective equipment including eyewear, ear plugs, hair net, and protective gowning. **Responsibilities** + Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations following Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures. + Work from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets, and written or verbal assembly instructions. + Set initial layouts and use a variety of tools to prepare products. + Make continuity checks on work in process and completed products. + Conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications. + Operate packaging machines. + Box and apply labeling materials. **Essential Skills** + No experience required. + General labor skills. + Ability to work in a cleanroom environment. + Assembly and production skills. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
