Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling pipe joining, fittings, and valves by reading blueprints and putting together basic pipe, connectors, and pieces according to job specifications. This role involves cutting and grooving pipe, logging data into a computer to update progress, and forming and pressing gaskets. ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints to assemble pipe joining, fittings, and valves.Assemble basic pipe, connectors, and other pieces according to job specifications.Cut and groove pipe as required.Log data into a computer to update progress.Form and press gaskets.Utilize hand and power tools for assembly tasks.Requirements5+ years of assembly experience.Strong mechanical knowledge.Proficiency in blueprint reading.Experience with hand and power tools.Experience with assembly of manufactured equipment, particularly valves.Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a clean, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with large fans to maintain airflow. Our facility includes an assembly/fabrication side and a warehouse distribution side. Join a team of about 12 shop employees, including CNC machinists, QC Technicians, Manufacturing trainers, Assemblers, and Machine Operators. The dress code includes steel-toe boots, jeans, work shirts, safety glasses, and high-visibility vests. The work schedule is 1st shift, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with potential overtime and weekend work based on production needs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stafford, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
