**Assembler** **Job Description** In this role, you will utilize hand and power tools to assemble various mechanical parts of a shallow water anchor, including metal poles, nuts, bolts, and pressure hoses. You will work within your own stand-up workstation to assemble the product, perform quality checks, and ensure conformance to specifications. Additional duties include counting and assembling kits, wrapping and boxing components, cleaning machined parts, and tending to machines and equipment. **Responsibilities** + Work within individual stand-up workstations to assemble mechanical parts of a shallow water anchor using hand and power tools. + Manually lift pallets or workstations for assembly line tasks. + Perform quality checks on products and parts. + Inspect and measure machined work pieces to verify conformance to specifications. + Count and assemble kits for other components. + Wrap and box components. + Clean machined parts such as drill tables and drill presses. + Tend to machines and equipment other than machine tools. **Essential Skills** + Minimum 1 year of experience with assembly of any kind (mechanical or electrical). + Previous experience with hand and power tools. + Ability to follow instructions and understand basic blueprints. + Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per shift. + Understanding of safety within manufacturing. + Mechanical aptitude and a good attitude to learn and cross-train. + Ability to lift 30-50 lbs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanical aptitude + Production experience + Blueprint reading skills + Experience with hand tools and power tools **Why Work Here?** As a family-owned company with a reputable brand in the boating industry, we continuously expand into new product lines and treat our employees like family. Departments include administrative, assembly, and warehouse. The work environment promotes safety, teamwork, and continuous learning. **Shift** Monday - Friday 7AM - 4:30PM with one hour lunch break. Overtime is not mandatory and rare unless brought on direct. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
