Job Description:

Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico

CoWorx Staffing has partnered with a nationwide leader in engineering and technology who is looking to add Assemblers to their team! These are first shift positions working Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm and the pay ranges between $20 to $22 an hour.

Responsibilities:

· Large scale assembly, setting up wood pieces, gluing, putting in bolts to put together larger containers
· Quality Control on all products (small metal buckets)
· Assembly of various products using small hand tools (drills, screwdrivers, wrenches)
· Cleaning, polishing & Deburring products (using alcohol or acetone with proper PPE)
· Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
· Maintaining Documentation and Paperwork standards

Desired Background/Skills:

· Required Skills: Basic reading, writing, math and computer skills (English)
· Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to use eye-hand coordination to manipulate small to large parts for assembly.
· The employee is frequently required to stand/sit for long periods.
· Employee must be able to lift and move at least 40 pounds on occasion.
· Specific vision abilities required by this job includes up-close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
· Prefer one to two years related assembly experience and/or training
· Must be an individual with proven initiative and demonstrated accountability in a fast paced environment.
· Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
