Our Rainsville, AL location is looking for an assembler to assemble transformers at the final stage while maintaining quality standards.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Adhering to safety policies and procedures including using PPE appropriately.

Assembling products using various tools and methods. Using grinding and other pneumatic tools according to safety standards. Using hoists and other lift-assist equipment to move products safely. To clean/touch up paint units as needed. Labeling units to meet quality specifications. Deconstructing returned products safely. Operating a forklift safely.  Participating in physical inventory activities. Using lift assistance to handle products weighing more than 50 pounds. Meeting established efficiency and productivity standards. Maintaining 6S and Lean Manufacturing standards. Additional or updated duties as business demands change.

Who You Are:

You have good verbal communication skills and are self-motivated. You have good time management skills and the ability to prioritize work. You can read and interpret specifications, plans, drawings, shop aids, and instructions.

For This Role You Will Need:

High School Diploma or equivalent experience Legal authorization to work in the United States, without sponsorship now or in the future. 

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

Prior manufacturing experience.
