Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team at Victaulic. This position is responsible for assembling, testing, and packaging Victaulic valve assemblies to meet customer specifications. The role involves working within a mechanical assembly environment and adhering to Lean Manufacturing principles and company safety standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Select proper components for assembly.Assemble components according to customer specifications and engineering instructions.Perform testing of assembled valves and maintain accurate records.Package assembled valves for shipping.Follow standard work practices, method sheets, and instructions.Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to Lean Manufacturing processes and FEM requirements.Report damages or malfunctions of equipment and tools to the supervisor.Use appropriate safety equipment at all times.Adhere to company policies and safety rules.Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 

Education and Skill Requirements:

3–5 years of experience in a mechanical assembly environment.Crane training is an asset.Knowledge of general assembly and testing processes.Ability to read blueprints/drawings and follow engineering instructions.Proficiency in using general assembly tools such as impact guns, torque wrenches, etc.Experience using measuring equipment, including vernier calipers.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Assembly experience with pipe fittings is an asset.

 

Compensation: $20.00/hour
