Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking a qualified Assembler to assemble mechanical, optical, or electrical components and subassemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure finished product meets established operational, quality, and cosmetic requirements.

Essential Functions:

Follow and comply with documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructionsAbility to complete assembly of complex, small, assemblies with a high level of quality and efficiencyAssemble parts primarily using soldering techniquesComplete assembly and soldering work with use of a microscope as requiredContinuously perform visual inspections of materials for defects and conducts any range of functional tests and cleaning at prescribed intervals to ensure properoperation of various components during assemblyReport deviations from standard to appropriate resource for review, instruction and authorization and conducts quality inspection at specified intervalsPerform accurate data and record keepingMaintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety proceduresApply basic math skills to add and subtract two digit numbers. Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent with 8 years prior experience in Assembly, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 4 years prior experience in Assembly
