This position reports to

Production Supervisor

Your role and responsibilities

Safely complete tasks and participate in team safety programsPosition parts according to unit being assembled or follow blueprintFastens parts together with bolts, washers, screws, speed, clips, rivets, or other fas-tenersRemoves small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between partsOperate hand tools, small presses, punch presses, or riveting machines to assist in assembly operationHand packs and seals assembled fittings and parts into containers for shippingOther duties as assigned.This position works 10 hour shifts Monday - Thursday, with OT as needed to meet customer demand.

Qualifications for the role

High School or equivalentAble to read 2 or 3 syllable words and recognize similarities/differences between words and/or numbersAble to printOne to three months related experience/training or combinationAble to add, subtract 2 digit numbers and multiply/divide by 10 or 100 accuratelyAble to understand U.S. currency, weight measurement, volume, and distanceAble to understand/perform detailed written/verbal instructionAble to maintain accuracy with variable in standardized situationCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
