**Job Title: Assembler I, Assembly - Skilled** **Job Description** Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make subassemblies, assemblies, or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and miscellaneous equipment. Fits, aligns, calibrates, and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements; repairing units or products that have failed to meet requirements. This position requires knowledge acquired through experience, specialized education, or training. The role follows clearly defined procedures and tasks, with guidelines to aid in decision-making. Technical knowledge required is limited to tasks performed in the discipline area and is considered basic. The tasks are generally routine and manual, following detailed and defined rules/instructions and making simple judgments in straightforward situations. Typically requires selecting between solutions already established. This job typically requires no experience. **Responsibilities** + Assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and/or electrical/electronic systems. + Create subassemblies, assemblies, or complete units using various tools and equipment. + Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements. + Repair units or products that fail to meet requirements. + Follow clearly defined procedures and tasks with guidelines for decision-making. + Perform routine and manual tasks as per detailed and defined rules/instructions. + Make simple judgments in straightforward situations. **Essential Skills** + Production experience + Assembly skills + Experience working with microscopes + Cleanroom experience + Proficiency with hand tools + Knowledge of catheters + Ability to read blueprints + Medical device assembly + General production knowledge + Inspection skills + Hand dexterity **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1 year of recent production experience + Hand assembly experience is a plus **Why Work Here?** Our company was ranked #1 employer in the US in 2020. Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 4 am - 3 pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
