As the Assembler II, you will oversee pulling and packing orders, occasionally assembling drains and components using power tools, and driving production and performance within the Blucher shipping area. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will also manage daily transactions using USQAD and ensure process adherence.

You Will:

Perform production tasks following process standard work.

Utilize USQAD to complete daily transactions, including material transfers and product inquiries.

Lift materials up to 50 lbs. as part of team-lifting procedures.

Complete production records and quality control documentation.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace through routine housekeeping and 5-S activities.

Promote a safe work environment by assisting in the development of Safety SOPs, Job Hazard Analyses, and ergonomic improvements.

Report daily production problems to the supervisor and participate in root cause analysis to resolve issues.

Train and coach new team members following Standard Operational Procedures.

Participate in kaizen events and process improvement initiatives.

You Have:

High school diploma or equivalent.

1-3 months of prior assembly experience.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to differentiate part numbers and use corresponding warehouse locations.

Intermediate computer skills, with experience in material management systems preferred.

Prior forklift experience with sit-down and stand-up lifts.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Ability to estimate weights for skids and pallets that cannot be weighed on a scale.

Ability to follow detailed written and oral instructions.

Previous lead experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
