Assembler II - Final Assembly
**Job Description** Full-time onsite: Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full- time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. Here, you ll find an opportunity to tackle challenging projects while knowing that your work is making an impact. As part of our manufacturing group, you will help ensure the integrity and reliability of our flight-critical products. We are looking for a 1st Shift assembler in our Final Assembly group. As a final assembly operator, you would be responsible for assembling circuit cards and flight control computers. To that effect, you will utilize skills in soldering, wiring, bonding, mechanical assembly, and inspection, according to routing, acceptance criteria, and work instructions. The use of appropriate tooling and machinery is required, to be sure our product is built to required customer specifications. There will be opportunities to cross-train in other assembly positions, participate and support continuous improvement activities, and perform other duties and responsibilities as required. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + High school diploma or GED is required. + Ability to hand solder (training will be provided). + Focus on Quality. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must. + Ability to pass a VAST (visual acuity) test is required. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + J-Standard or IPC Soldering Experience + Circuit Card Assembly + Conformal Coating + Mechanical Assembly + Experience in Wiring circuit boards + Previous CCA hand assembly experience + Experience in reworking circuit cards **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $37295 - $59672 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
