**Job Description** Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. Our employees work on the world s most advanced electronics. Come build your career with BAE Systems. + Assemble parts for electromechanical equipment + Self inspection of your completed work + Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, process plans, and drawings + Orders parts when needed + Scribe or mark identifying information on parts and assemblies + Utilizes fixturing to accurately build assemblies + Inspect parts and materials for flaws and imperfections prior to use + Use calipers and micrometers to measure parts and determine tolerances + Manually solder or epoxy electrical components + Use Solder Reflow Ovens, semi-auto P&P machines, and automated measurement systems + Work with engineers to build newly designed parts and assemblies + Analyzes and initiates assembly methods according to process requirements + Makes frequent interdepartmental contacts to resolve problems + Demonstrates intermediate computer skills + Learn and use multiple Manufacturing Execution Systems (Paperless, Solumina, Promis) + Employs Microsoft Excel and Word to enter, manipulate and format text and numerical data; insert, delete and manipulate cells, rows and columns; and create and save worksheets. + Maintain appropriate training as required by the company, and adherence to company policies + Production accuracy and quality driven + Works in a Clean Room environment + Assembles, disassembles, and modifies various production subassemblies by following work plans. Inspects results to ensure conformance + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. + Basic computer skills, including using software for MRP and data collection. + Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** High School Diploma or GED and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience + Ability to read and interpret work instructions and drawings. + Ability to become solder certified + Effective communication and team work + Computer literacy, and familiarity with Microsoft suit of products (Excel, Word, Outlook) + Strong work ethic, and a desire to be part of a successful working team A passion for learning/knowledge **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Experienced in electronic assembly 3 years + IPC-610/620 Certifications + Knowledge of MIL-STD-883 Methods 2021 and 2017 + Solder Reflow experience **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $47488 - $75980 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
