About the Role:

As an Assembler at PDS Tech Commercial, you’ll be an essential part of our team, assembling high-quality conveyor systems and mechanical components. You’ll work hands-on with pneumatic, hydraulic, and belt-driven systems, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring everything operates smoothly. Your work will directly impact the production of innovative systems, so your attention to detail and mechanical expertise will make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities:

Follow blueprints and schematics to assemble various mechanical systems and components.

Set up, adjust, and operate equipment to ensure various assemblies function properly.

Handle materials, plumb, or pipe hydraulic and pneumatic lines to meet specifications.

Install motors, gearboxes, and other drive components to mechanical systems.

Test assemblies to ensure proper functionality and precision.

Inspect parts with measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and protractors.

Log assembly times and document compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) and departmental procedures.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards and plant rules.

Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other lifting tools safely as required.

Collaborate with team members and transfer completed assemblies to the next production stage.

Perform general maintenance on tools and equipment.

What You Bring:

Required:

Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.

Physical stamina to meet the demands of the job, including lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for long periods.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.

Basic computer literacy.

Preferred:

Technical education is a plus.

Class 1 Assembler: 3+ years of industrial assembly experience.

Class 2 Assembler: 1+ year of industrial assembly experience.

Hands-on experience with hand tools and mechanical systems.

Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

Pay Details: $25.64 to $27.42 per hour
