**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembler to join our team for a long-term opportunity with the potential for direct hire. The Assembler will be responsible for assembling batteries for large vehicles, utilizing various tools and equipment to ensure precise and high-quality work. **Responsibilities** + Transport and assemble batteries for large vehicles using pallet jacks. + Utilize tools such as drills and torque wrenches to perform assembly tasks. + Follow blueprints and work instructions to complete assignments. + Prepare and assemble work by studying assembly instructions, manufacturing document specifications, and BOM. + Use auxiliary equipment per work instructions. + Prepare, process, clean, install, assemble, rework, verify, test, and inspect electrical and mechanical components, hardware, sub-assemblies, and assemblies on single or multiple product lines. + Perform tasks using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to accurately measure parts and verify tolerances. + Drill, tap, ream, countersink, and spot-face bolt holes in parts using drill presses and portable power drills. + Resolve assembly problems to meet specifications and notify the supervisor to obtain additional resources when necessary. + Use torque wrenches to adjust or install parts and equipment following established specifications and procedures. **Essential Skills** + Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to think outside the box. + High level of attention to detail and work quality. + Basic computer navigation and utilization skills. + Advanced knowledge in the usage of hand tools, handheld power tools, fabricating equipment, and portable air tools. + Ability to drill, ream, tap, and install heli-coils in various size holes. + Ability to read and record detailed measurements and proficiency in using computer software such as Google Sheets or Excel. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
