Responsibilities:
- Complete required assembly activities for an assigned cell while consistently maintaining product quality and safe work practices
- Meet and maintain daily production rates & goals as established and required by the company
- Read and follow standard work instructions.
- Keep Supervisor / Group Lead/Manufacturing Technicians informed of cell activity including but not limited to information related to quality, personal, parts supply, and safety issues that may occur within the scope of responsibility
- Complete all required cell activities and documentation for assigned work cell as requested by supervisor.
- Attend all required training
- Assure a quality focus is maintained at all times
- Address all quality and safety concerns via the appropriate channel for an assigned cell
- Participate in all required continuous improvement activities as requested or required by the company
- Utilize Lean concepts and provided tool tools in order to improve the production process
- Assure work environment is clean, orderly and free of safety hazards at all times
- Actively participate in all department projects, tasks, and objectives including but not limited to continuous improvement activities
- Maintain the highest ethical standards as well as absolute personal and intellectual integrity, mature judgment, and innate cooperative nature.
- Other activities as needed and requested
- Must be able to use all required tools in an assigned work area
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:
- Demonstrated proficiency in English comprehension and expression both verbal and written
- Sustain an acceptable attendance record by not exceeding 5 points per the OPW Retail Fueling Above Ground Attendance Policy
- Adhere to all required company policies
- Ability to work all scheduled and adjusted times, and or work overtime to accommodate production
- Ability to effectively train associates and manage required documentation
Education/Experience
- Meet and maintain daily production rates & goals as established and required by the company
- Read and follow standard work instructions.
- Have a high school diploma of equivalent
- Willing and able to wear all required personal protective equipment
- Standing for long periods of time
- Bend/stoop, climb, reach above shoulder, kneel and squat occasionally
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. manually on a repetitive basis
