As a Assembly and Test Technician, you will be responsible for:
Perform inspection of purchased parts, materials, components, and equipment Determine and execute the methods, sequences, and procedures necessary for work completion Work from engineering drawings, sketches, data sheets, specifications, and computersUse a variety of tools, and follow processes to produce defect-free work Test finished electrical cabinet assemblies (i.e. read and understand wiring diagrams, end to end wiring tests, mechanical layout checks, Insulation resistance and continuity tests)Perform Functional tests on installed equipmentSet up customer computers and associated networksUpdate technical and quality documentationAct as technology resource for the production floorLearn and use Six Sigma methodologies to enhance quality and efficiencyTest monitoring systems (i.e. Bently Nevada 3500) which includes downloading configuration files, applying test signalsExecute factory acceptance test plans and recording test resultsFrequently interface with customers during Factory Acceptance TestsAssist Project Engineers with changes to 3500 and S1 configurationsWitness Flow cell calibrations at designated vendor locations which will involve frequent travelingPerform other duties as necessary to support Cabinet Shop teamTakes initiative to learn new skillsWork effectively in a multi-team environmentFuel your passion
Associate degree in Electronics from an accredited college or university or diploma with 3 years relevant electronics test experienceMinimum 6 months of experience in electronics trouble shooting and Cabinet AssemblyWork overtime, weekends, and holidays, as requiredWork in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending environment and other physical activitiesBe in a shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as requiredLift objects weighing up to 25 kgsWork in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activitiesGood knowledge of wiring diagrams, blueprints, or assembly printsWork in a way that works for you
