Adecco is assisting a leading provider of audio solutions, dedicated to improving lives through advanced hearing technology in adding to their team in Shakopee, MN.
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Assembly Technician to join our production team. This position is responsible for assembling, testing, and packaging hearing/audio products and related components with precision and care. Ideal candidates will have strong hand-eye coordination, a focus on quality, and the ability to work in a cleanroom or lab-like environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Assemble small components according to schematics and instructions
+ Conduct quality control checks throughout the assembly process
+ Operate small hand tools, microscopes, and soldering equipment as needed
+ Maintain accurate production and inspection records
+ Troubleshoot and repair minor component issues
+ Follow all safety and cleanliness procedures
+ Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve product efficiency and standards
**Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training a plus
+ Prior experience in small device or electronics assembly preferred
+ General computer skills are preferred
+ Excellent manual dexterity and fine motor skills
+ Ability to focus on detailed work for extended periods
+ Familiarity with basic electronic testing tools is an asset
+ Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-player attitude
**Working Conditions:**
+ Lab setting with extended periods of sitting and focus work
+ Use of tweezers, and precision tools
+ May require lifting small boxes up to 25 lbs

**Pay Details:** $18.50 per hour
