Position Overview:

The Assembly Education Trainer is an integral part of the Training Team providing instruction and guidance to all-level of assembly employees at the facility. They teach complex technical concepts clearly and in a way that is understandable for trainees with varying levels of experience. They assess trainee progress and provide constructive feedback.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Conduct individual and group technical trainings associated with the Assembly Education Center or other classroom trainings on all aspects of assembly processes. Create training materials that align with industry standards and departmental needs. Demonstrate practical skills and supervise trainees as they learn assembly procedures in a workshop or factory setting.

To thrive in this role, you have:

High school diploma or state recognized GED 5+ years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical assembly processes Mechanical/electrical assembly training experience preferred Expertise in reading, understanding assembly drawings/blueprints. Familiarity with the safety regulations and standards for assembly in manufacturing. Mechanical and electrical knowledge Expertise in the handling/working of tools required for mechanical and electrical assembly IPC-620 WHMA certification is a plus.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; climb or balance.

Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.  Details regarding our benefits can be found here: https://www.benefitsquickstart.com/siemens/index.html.  The base salary range for this position in North Carolina is $89,300- $105,000.  The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
