Assembly Lead
**Schedule 1st shift Monday - Thursday 6am - 3pm & Friday 6am - Noon** **Responsibilities:** + Lead and direct department activities to meet production schedules, cost targets, and quality goals + Provide information, direction, and feedback to department personnel + Promote adherence to company policies, procedures, and work instructions + Demonstrate continuous effort to improve processes and efficiency while working with other team members + Support strategic change initiatives such as lean manufacturing, new product integration, and cross training + Hands on production assembly work as required **Required** **Education/Experience/Skills:** + High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 - 7 years senior level custom assembly experience + Effective computer skills + Knowledge of production processes related to mechanical assembly + Ability to read technical drawings and interface with engineering resources + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Ability to time manage to meet deadlines + Use judgement and independent thinking + Proficient at planning, scheduling, organizing and decision making + Dependability a must **Benefits:** Our benefit package includes medical, dental, and vision plans, vacation/sick pay, life insurance, short & long-term disability, paid parental leave and 401k retirement plan. \#LI-JW1 **Who we are:** Coperion is an industry leader in compounding and extrusion, feeding and weighing, bulk material handling and service, bringing a wealth of know-how and experience to the market.
