Baker Hughes is seeking a technician with electrical and automation competence to join our AMO (Assembly Maintenance Overhaul) team. As an "AMO Electro Mech" Technician within our Pressure Pumping Cementing product line, you will be performing maintenance and improvement of equipment used in offshore cementing operations. Work is conducted both onshore and offshore, providing opportunities for diverse challenges to support our customers. Applicants must be residents of Norway.

As an AMO Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for:

Complying with HS&E guidelines and procedures.Performing electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades on offshore units and onshore equipment. Service and calibration of process instruments such as flow meters, level sensors, and pressure sensors.Conduct Z-015 and function testing of units destined for offshore installations.Contribute to the investigation of incidents, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of equipment problems.Work according to predefined procedures in line with established work methods and quality standards.Contribute to the improvement of maintenance processes, documentation, and quality.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have Trade certificate or equivalent qualification in an electrical field.Have a good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment (hydraulic servo valves, pneumatic I/P valves, etc.). Be familiar with Ex and Exi equipment as well as maintenance procedures.Proficient in both English and Norwegian language.Relevant professional experience (oil industry, technical, electrical) with excellent electrical understanding.Valid passport required for travel.Strong skills in problem-solving, process improvement, and analytical abilities.Proficient in reading and interpreting maintenance documents, drawings, spare parts lists, and following formal procedures.Be able to demonstrate proficient computer skills.
