About this opportunity:

With over three years as an established Ericsson Production Site, the Production team at the US 5G Smart Factory is looking to continue to expand our production operator workforce. Assembly operators play a crucial role in operating production equipment and producing boards for innovative 5G radios and basebands.
 
We are seeking hard-working individuals who are passionate about technology and innovation. The chosen candidates will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment contributing to both volume production and new product introduction. This position offers an exciting chance to be part of a dynamic team driving continuous quality and efficiency improvement within the production environment and opportunities for future growth of both technical and leadership skills.

 

What you will do:

Achieve certifications on SMA machines and processes via in-house on-the-job trainingOperate SMA equipment: Solder Paste Printer (DEK, Europlacer), Automated Paste and Glue Dispenser (Camalot), Pick and Place Machines (ASM), and Automated Optical Inspection Machines (Koh Young)Operate board test equipment to ensure product reliabilityEnsure inventory accuracy and control in SMA KanbanCheck machine readiness and conduct continuous monitoring of machine operationsEnsure the right components are used in productionPerform basic quality auditing, testing, and troubleshooting functions to ensure product qualitySpeak up and contribute your ideas for improvements to your work areasHelp to implement new improvementsParticipate in regular knowledge sharing and learning sessionsClean SMA machines, tools, and equipmentOrganize your work area according to 5S principlesPromote, understand, and strictly adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality guidelines without deviation.

 

The skills you bring:

High School DiplomaDemonstrated interest and experience in technology and manufacturingHigh level of interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with management and colleaguesTeam-player, proactive, committed to providing high-quality workExperience with being a part of complex processesExperience in an SMT/SMA production environmentRelevant technical education and computer literacyFamiliarity with Electrostatic Discharge precautionsAbility to work overtime and/or flexible shift hours when required
