The Assembler performs a combination of paced repetitive tasks using automated and/or manual tooling to assemble components in a mass production environment.  May also be responsible for performing tasks associated with manual material handling
Position: Assembly/Production Operator
 
Reports To:  Supervisor/Team Leads
                                   
Location/Department: Edelbrock East/ Department 6101 Day Shift Overtime and Saturday’s work may be required 
Qualifications & Skills Required: Must be able to use all required tools Must be able to perform fast paced repetitive tasks Must be able to grip and grasp small items Must have good communication skills Must understand and use the four basic arithmetic functions Must be able to lift up to 50lbs Must be physically able to exert up to 20lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10lbs of force frequently Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time Ability to bend, stoop, twist at waste level and lift from floor level.
 Responsibilities: Meets all quality standards in performing assigned tasks. Follow all processes and written assembly instructions, drawings, schematics and document and report any discrepancies between actual and documented process.
