Join Lockheed Martin’s Johnstown Operations as an Assembly Supervisor (Level 3) and lead a team in delivering high-quality assemblies, subassemblies, and completed units. Your leadership will directly contribute to meeting production goals while maintaining efficiency, quality, and safety standards.

• Supervising daily assembly operations to ensure production meets quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
• Managing team recruitment, selection, training, and performance assessments to develop a skilled and motivated workforce.
• Overseeing work assignments, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Leading recognition and disciplinary actions to foster a positive and engaged work environment.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational objectives.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives in assembly processes.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in Aircraft Maintenance &/or Aerospace Manufacturing &/or experience in similar industry (automotive, Space, transportation)
• Experience in Production Operation &/or Manufacturing
• Leadership Experience
Desired Skills:
• Background of 5yrs experience needed for this position.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5yrs experience working within manufacturing environment.
• Thorough knowledge of the manufacturing process.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Superior verbal/written skills and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills a must.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint). Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
