Core Responsibilities:
Prepare components for testing and dynamically test assembled components Work closely with Engineering department to maintain working knowledge of latest test standards and technologies Maintains work instructions and documentation, for geared product disassembly, assembly, and testing Schedules and conducts employee training in testing, and assigns scheduled jobs to technicians Responsible for calibration, testing, and troubleshooting problems Works with product support, material teams, cleaning, and machine shop to manage flow of materials and meet works work schedules Capable of disassembling, assembling, testing, and troubleshooting and diagnosing all performance/dyno test problems Documenting results May perform any or all of cleaning, repair, and refurbishment of parts, and assembly or re-assembly of components to specifications Inspect and determine parts to be machined or replaced Assemble components to specifications Maintain organized, clean, and safe work areaTeam Leader
Guarantee the safe operation within his area. Implementing change to safety policies ex. No forklift, 1 ear bud, mask, etc. Conduct daily safety meetings (S) and team meetings (QDCEP) Help execute any production functions within the department. Production must be met. Work overtime when needed and promote an atmosphere where the team will do the same when needed. Cover absenteeism. Bridge between Managers and Production Follow up disturbance collection (with help of star point loss seeker) as soon as possible, identify root cause and create quick kaizen if applicable in order to promote agile FI work Be the first line of help to operators. Operator need to be producing 100% of the time. Solve personal and technical issues within and inter departments. Bring the solution to the operator so that he can keep the full pace. Bring needs of Ops to the supervisor. Be the voice of manufacturing (Andon calls). Follow all the processes, for example: Know all SOP's in his area, enforce that they are strictly followed. Work with engineering on creating and improving SOP's. Submit PDR's to engineering whenever the standard process is not followed Clocking in and out Identify training needed for each individual, and work with the supervisor to make them happen. Hold team accountable to perform to the best extent possible, promoting full utilization of each individual, and at the same time, feeding each individual to grow in delivery and knowledge Monitor break times and Lunch times and end of day times and vocally call it out Promote a good positive atmosphere so that the team is willing to grow and not leave. To do that, the operator's needs ought to be addressed and feedback must be given. Support overall timekeeping and attendance tracking of the team Ensure adherence to environmental policies and proceduresSkills and Knowledge:

Basic and specific computer skills
Minimum Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent
Must be capable of lifting up to 50lbs occasionally
Vocational certificate or equivalent experience
