Roles and Responsibilities

Recap any updates with Supervisor following team huddle.Know and understand each role within the department.Get outside department contacts involved when necessary (quality, maintenance, warehouse, yard, etc.)Point of contact in department when Supervisor is unavailable.Report any findings, issues, observations to the Supervisor.Support system for employeesDelegate where employees should be working throughout the shift.Ensure that shells are prepared to the highest of quality standardsMake sure employees are following all LM policies.Attend Team Leader Training and Train new employeesEngineering point of contact for questions and/or trials.Conduct walk-throughs with candidates when supervisor is unavailable.

Required Qualifications

Certifications in Crane, Hinge Operation, Glue Machine and Forklift.Ability to lift of carry objects or materials up to 40 lbs.Ability to push/pull heavy objects.Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors.Ability to work with hands for an extended period. Knowledge of the department area.Ability to communicate, empathize, resolve conflict, patience, and tolerance.Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools and heavy machinery.  Ability to work individually and as part of a team

Desired Characteristics

High School Diploma, GED, or related work experience.Previous manufacturing and leadership experience preferred.Previous fiberglass experience helpful.
