OVERVIEW
The position is to develop and manage Production team to maintain productive application of resources including safety, personnel, equipment, efficiency, material availability and facilities to achieve goals and targets, quality & delivery. Promote and establishes activities to comply with company’s standards and policies. Leads and promote and facilitate continuous improvement activities to improve product quality, output and cost.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain Shop discipline, operations scheduling and supervision of production flow. Provides direction and support to Production Leaders. Responsible for Production, Quality & Delivery on time Maintain good working relationships with employees to promote positive working environment. Ensure Material availability for present & next Production Orders. Optimum utilization of staffing plans, through capacity and labor planning activities. Manage employees training to comply with company requirement and standards. Ensure housekeeping of machines and work center. Updating of daily production status board. Coordinate with Quality Assurance to resolve production quality issues. Manage employees training and certification including the updating of Skill matrix. Promotion and implementation of Kaizen ideas. Drives the use of lean manufacturing practices and 5S standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 2 years of college education 3+ Years' experience as Team Leader Experience in manufacturing process Knowledge in SAP is an advantage Should have knowledge in reading and understanding drawings Job Overview TE Connectivity's Assembly Teams operate assigned automated assembly machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
