Assembly & Test Technician - Level 2 (1st shift) FAA

As an Assembly & Test Technician Level II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and testing of aerospace components. You will be accountable for following detailed work instructions, performing quality checks, and ensuring that all products meet the required specifications. Your attention to detail and technical skills will contribute to the success of our aerospace business.


In this role, you will have a significant impact on our aerospace business unit by ensuring the quality and reliability of our aerospace components. You will work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, implement process improvements, and meet production targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n

• 1st shift Monday - Friday 6:00am-2:30pm 

\n

• Perform assembly and testing tasks on complex electronic and mechanical components and systems
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications
• Troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements
• Work with cross-functional teams to meet production targets

All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 1+ years of experience in assembly and testing of electronic and mechanical components and systems
• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in assembly and testing processes
• Attention to detail and ability to follow detailed work instructions
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
