As a Senior Asset Servicing Associate in Asset and Wealth Management Operations department, you will have the opportunity to participate in innovation projects and help define the future of Operations along the way. The key focus in each of those areas is to ensure that business activities are carried out in an efficient, controlled, and timely manner by understanding, reviewing, and implementing processes, systems, and procedures in the context of a growing business with increasingly complex product offering. 

Job responsibilities:

Managing the entire life cycle for Corporate Actions, Income and Class actions. Ensure accurate and timely completion of operational procedures. Understand, follow, and demonstrate compliance with all Risk and Control regulations. Identify, evaluate, and deliver process improvement initiatives and participate in project testing Ensure that  process documentation is maintained up to date. Monitoring and chasing queries to ensure timely completion based on deadlines/urgency/escalations. Taking process trainings for new joiners. Manage and supervise a team of 3-4 people, guide and coach individuals with their career goals Understanding of Securities market and Asset Servicing. Ensure relevant and adequate controls are in place and applied Question existing process and find more efficient solutions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Graduate with a minimum 8 years of relevant experience. Strong analytical skills with high accuracy, methodic and attention to details. Strong Client Focus: adhering to response time to client and maintaining high client satisfaction. Demonstrated leadership skills: collaborate with and lead others by influence, to achieve objectives, with an aptitude for decision making and problem solving. Assertiveness: willingness and ability to challenge the status quo and express opinions, Strong interpersonal skills: can build effective business relationships with cross functional/geographical teams and coordinate with teams to action items. Ownership- Able to take ownership of issue and proactive approach to problem solving. Control orientated and Risk awareness is essential. Understand Operational Risks to reduce Risk Profile Gain end to end knowledge of the process & as a subject matter expert, assist in the key projects. Demonstrate ability to handle all miscellaneous requests related to the process & assist the team with research & investigation as required Ensure effective transfer of knowledge.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Knowledge of AI tools like Alteryx, Signavio, Tableau etc. would be an added advantage. Good on MIS & Reporting requirements.
