We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and thoroughly efficient candidate to join our Alternative Investment Client Services Administrator Oversight team. In this capacity, you will work closely with our fund administrators and portfolio managers and coordinate service-related strategies with the goal of providing an optimal client experience and creating scale and control.

The Shareholder Services group is a global, sales aligned service organization that provides high quality service and solutions to Shareholders.  Through their client service model, Shareholder Services enables distribution of Goldman Sachs Asset Management investment products, provides consultative services, scale and controls, all with a focus on being accretive financially to the business.

Within Shareholder Services, Alternative Investment Client Services is a solutions-oriented team seeking to enhance the client experience by developing and monitoring ongoing service-related strategies and controls. The Administrator Oversight team is responsible for managing relationships with our fund administrators, processing or overseeing investor trading and portfolio management reporting, and processing all fund-related transactions.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

Primary Responsibilities

Manage and oversee transactions in private equity or hedge fund vehicles to ensure accurate trade-flow reporting to portfolio managersDrive team success through effective communication, strategic planning and performance managementEvolve operating, risk management and control modelsManage new Fund launches, closures, and eventsCoordinate various tasks related to regulatory filings and Fund audit. Manage ad hoc projects within the Shareholder Services groupComplete Vendor Management oversightMay perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.Strong leadership skills, with management experience preferredAptitude for building relationships and ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of stakeholders with differing levels of product experience.Proven analytical skills, problem solving ability, and a control mentality paired with meticulous attention to detail.Ability to work well under pressure, solve problems efficiently and multi-task in a deadline driven environmentDemonstrates accountability and sense of urgency in achieving results/completing tasks Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership and accountability of projects, has strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.  Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience in financial services, operations or related field industry experienceKnowledgeable about the alternative investment industry

Salary Range 
The expected base salary for this Chicago, Illinois, United States-based position is $90,000-$230,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
