As a Trading Services Analyst within our middle office team, you will serve as an essential resource for client-facing stakeholders. Your role will involve acting as the intermediary between the business, technology, control partners, and operations. You will have the opportunity to delve into inquiries, oversee trade execution flows, and reconcile trades, thereby gaining a fundamental understanding of our trading platforms and systems. In this high-pressure, fast-paced environment, you will excel by providing and communicating solutions in person, over the phone, and via email.
Job responsibilities:
Provide end-to-end trade flow support across all product channels globally Monitor ongoing support needs to address changes and gaps Drive continuous improvement efforts, while reducing risk across all touch-points in the trade path Ensure the accurate and timely escalation and resolution of all inquiries Be able to address ad hoc queries from operations, technology, and the front office Facilitate training for new application users Work with the business, technology, and operations to determine priorities, schedule of releases, and detail of the requirements for future enhancements/productsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Understand all relevant trading products (Equities, Bond , Foreign Exchange and Listed Option) Knowledge of the front to back Operations process (including the key elements such as confirmations, settlements, regulatory reporting) and facilitate issue resolution across teams Understand the key elements of other infrastructure groups (i.e. Finance, Market risk, Credit risk, Operational risk, Legal, Collateral etc.) and recognize the impact of the actions of the Trade support team on these areas Must have clear communication skills and an ability to use these to work collaboratively, explain, and challenge, as appropriate Attention to detail with superior written, verbal, and problem-solving skills and sense of ownership Great team player able to work in a pressurized and changing environmentPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
At least 2 years of financial industry experience, specific to Trade support middle office or Securities Settlements Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred and in-depth knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet technologies Highly disciplined, a self-starter, and the ability to execute on assignments independently A team player who demonstrates work ethic and consistently demonstrates a high-level of professionalism Excellent organizational and time management skills and has the ability to communicate with all levels within the Line of Business Strong capacity for operating in a flexible, dynamic environment where creative and strategic thinking is required
