The Asset Coordinator is responsible for assisting in coordinating the daily activities of the Asset Advantage staff as directed by management. Provide excellent customer service as outlined in the Asset Advantage service agreement at designated contracted healthcare facilities. Utilize a PC based computer system to track medical equipment throughout a healthcare facility or facilities.
This full-time position follows a third-shift schedule, with working hours from 9:00pm to 5:30am, Monday through Friday. The selected candidate will perform their duties on-site at John Hopkins Hospital.
What You'll Be Doing:Attend monthly safety meetingsDemonstrate a proactive approach to safety awareness and complianceSuccessfully complete all required safety and compliance learning modules on a timely basisComplete medical testing in a timely mannerSustain a clean and safe work environment, including 5S activities.Identify safety concerns and correct as necessaryAbility to lift and carry up to 65 pounds using appropriate processes, including proper safety and ergonomic proceduresSchedule & Coordinate o Assist in the scheduling and training of AssetAdvantage staffCoordinate daily work assignments, oversee and engage in Asset Advantage contracted activitiesMonitor daily and monthly performance metrics incorporation with managementAssists with projects, inventories, or other special requests as needed.Equipment Management o Responsible for inventory, delivery, retrieval, and coordination of medical gases o Daily verification rounds and perform equipment decontamination procedures according to company and customer guidelinesAssist with tracking and pulling assets due for preventative maintenanceUtilize a PC based computer system to track equipment throughout the healthcare facilityIdentify and communicate problems to managementResponsible for assigning and completion of daily activities assigned to staffCustomer Service to Perform assistance with patient transfer, when requested (site applicable)Effective and professional communication with company and customer management/personnelEffective time management decisions to meet customer happiness issuesAssist in providing education and in-service training for customer’s personnel as neededThis job is a leadership role which will oversee work distribution to employees at the assigned site. The Asset Coordinator does not make hiring decisions, promote/demote employees and does not administer discipline to employeesWhat You'll Bring:High School Diploma or GED requiredApplicable technical or trade school training preferredExperience working with medical devices and/or FDA regulated products preferredPrevious mechanical/hands-on experience preferredAdapts to new technologies and is comfortable with the Microsoft Office Suite of productsSchedule flexibility/on-callOccasional overtime requiredGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyAbility to resolve conflictAbility to read, comprehend, interpret, analyze, and apply technical information including but not limited to technical manuals, technical bulletins, schematics, etc.Effectively present information both verbal and written in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organizationBasic mathematical skills related to calculating/analyzing weights and measures, volume, distance, etc.Please refer to the Physical Demands Supplement for complete physical requirements of this positionAbility to walk a minimum of seven miles per dayAbility to ‘tilt and roll’ oxygen tanks on/off carts and staging areas (ranging from 9 lbs. to 287 lbs.)Ability to push a cart of 24 to 40 “E” Cylinders (Cart weighs up to 400 lbs). At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $17.00 to $18.00 an hour. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
