The APAC Chief Administrative Office (CAO) team plays a pivotal role in supporting the APAC Chief Administrative Officer and Senior Management in delivering the strategic objectives of Asset Management (AM) in the APAC region.
As an Associate in the APAC CAO team, you will be responsible for monitoring key projects and initiatives across the region, working collaboratively with global partners and APAC stakeholders in Asset Management, as well as essential Corporate and Control functions such as Compliance, Legal, Risk, Controls, Operations, and Technology.

Job responsibilities
Assist with daily administrative tasks for the APAC CAO, who oversees seven regional functions and seven country CAOs, encompassing over 400 staff in the region. Support the preparation of materials for regional governance meetings and APAC CAO business reviews. Collaborate with key stakeholders across APAC to track the execution of strategic priorities and monitor the impact of key deliverables. Track and address outstanding issues across the seven APAC markets. Oversee projects from inception to final implementation, including coordination, follow-up, and documentation. Develop detailed documentation to capture business requirements, setting clear goals, objectives, and timelines with measurable milestones. Monitor project progress, ensuring milestones and critical dates are met, and resolve any issues that arise. Prepare regular project status update reports. Enhance connectivity between line of business (LOBs) and functions, including front office, operations management, legal, compliance, risk, audit, control, and technology functions. Handle ad-hoc governance initiatives as needed. Work closely with Finance on budget, headcount, expense, and efficiency tracking for the APAC CAO organization, and coordinate the annual APAC CAO Client Service (CS) offsite planning meeting and organize the monthly APAC CAO meeting to facilitate knowledge sharing on key initiatives across the region.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with a focus on project management, Self-motivated and highly organized, with strong follow-up and follow-through capabilities. Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Demonstrated ability to maintain high productivity and meet deadlines under pressure. Proactive and eager to learn, with a willingness to take on new responsibilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
ideally within asset management or other regulated financial services industries. Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin is preferred but not mandatory.
