Job Summary
As a Vice President in the Infrastructure Fund Formation team within J.P. Morgan Asset Management, you will be a key player in our Fund Execution Team (FET). You will use your legal experience to support strategic decision making in areas such as investment vehicle management, capital raising, capital deployment, regulatory, governance, and asset management. You will work closely with various teams, portfolio companies, internal JPMorgan Legal and Compliance departments, external counsel, and other advisors to achieve commercial outcomes for stakeholders. Your role will involve engaging with investors, ensuring appropriate risk management, and facilitating IIG’s relationships within the capital raising community. This role offers the opportunity to learn new skills, including regulatory positioning and investment vehicle credit and hedging arrangements, as the vehicle and its portfolio companies evolve over time.
Job Responsibilities:
Engage with investors to facilitate capital raising and ensure investors’ requirements are met; Ensure appropriate risk management, governance, consistency and best practices in contractual arrangements with investors and investment vehicle reporting; Work with IIG team, external advisers, JPMorgan legal and compliance and other JPMorgan stakeholders to bridge the commercial and legal discourse; Assist in management of the independent board of the investment vehicle; Learn new skills, including regulatory positioning and investment vehicle credit and hedging arrangements, as the vehicle and its portfolio companies evolve over time; Demonstrate leadership within IIG ; Facilitate IIG’s relationships within the capital raising community; and; Manage external legal counsel.Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
