Asset Management Leader
Job Description SummaryThe role of the Asset Management Leader is to assist GE Healthcare’s customers to achieve their medical equipment optimization objectives. This is done by working directly with our customers to provide them with the guidance and expertise they need to improve the purchasing, renting, cleaning, handling, distribution, service, use and decommissioning of medical equipment assets.

Responsibilities:

Establish and facilitate executive and departmental governance committeesFacilitate scoping sessions to clearly identify the customers objectivesConduct interviews and perform assessments to measure current stateGather data, perform advanced analytics, identify insights and opportunitiesPrioritize opportunities according to effort, feasibility, impact, and customer-readiness factorsConduct value stream mapping sessions with key customer stakeholders to identify and eliminate waste within processesCommunicate recommendations and proposed solutionsUtilize GE’s Change Acceleration Process (CAP) model to establish stakeholder awareness, buy-in, and support of process improvement objectivesGuide customer through process changesMeasure results and assist customer to establish ongoing mechanisms to sustain those resultsAchieve contractual objectives and obtain customer acknowledgement of delivered results

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with five years or more of experience working with medical equipment in a healthcare settingResidence in/near the Northern California area (San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose Bay Area or Northern Central Valley/Sacramento) with ability to be onsite at customer locations multiple days per week.Direct experience leading customers through process improvement projectsExperience with contemporary process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, LEAN, Agile, TQM, etc.)Analytics capabilities including advanced Excel skillsExceptional interpersonal skillsExecutive-level communication skills (written, interviewing, persuasion, and presentation)Socially oriented problem solver who believes the best solutions come from collaborative teamingSelf-starter who can work independently, with the confidence to make most decisions and quickly pull in support as needed to achieve objectivesAbility to work effectively across functions to deliver resultsComfortable with ambiguity during the lifecycle of a projectMultitasking abilities, able to simultaneously manage multiple critical deliverablesResourceful and committed, with excellent communication and negotiation skillsService mindset with a passion for helping our customers achieve their goals by removing obstacles, providing guidance, and setting high standards

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $121,920.00-$182,880.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
