Additionally, our client designs, builds, operates, and secures scalable cloud and IT infrastructures to meet their customers’ near-term needs and fulfill their long-term requirements.
Responsibilities
Our client is seeking an Asset Management Specialist to play a key role in ensuring that the organization's assets are properly tracked, deployed, maintained, upgraded, and eventually disposed of. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and have a solid background in asset management practices. U.S. citizenship and a TS-SCI clearance are required.
Manage the acquisition, deployment, utilization, tracking, security, and final disposition of IT assetsEnter information into asset management databases, ensuring data accuracyFacilitate the transfer of assets between various client locationsServe as the primary point of contact for IT hardware asset managementPerform moderately heavy lifting for the movement of IT equipment, such as monitors and printersAnalyze large datasets using Excel and ensure asset records are accurate from creation to closureCommunicate with customers, vendors, management, and team members, primarily using phone and emailComplete other duties as assignedRequirements
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required for this positionStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsDetail-oriented and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with the Microsoft 365 suite, particularly ExcelAbility to work on-site at a client SCIF in Washington D.C.Preferred Requirements
Familiarity with the Intelligence Community (IC) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)Previous experience in asset management or a similar roleStrong stakeholder management and interpersonal skillsPassion for staying current with industry trends and emerging technologiesEducation/Certification Requirements
