Position Overview:
The Asset Management Technician is responsible for the efficient management, maintenance, and tracking of equipment. This role ensures that all assets are properly documented, maintained, and available for use, contributing to the overall operational efficiency and safety of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Asset Tracking and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all assets, including acquisition, maintenance, and disposal information.
Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and coordinate repairs for all equipment to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with safety standards.
Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory checks and audits to ensure all assets are accounted for and in good working condition.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all equipment meets regulatory and safety standards, and maintain documentation for compliance purposes.
Coordination: Work closely with other departments to ensure equipment needs are met and to facilitate the efficient use of resources.
Reporting: Generate reports on asset status, maintenance schedules, and inventory levels for management review.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in asset management, maintenance, or a related field, preferably in a healthcare or laboratory setting.
Skills:
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Proficiency with asset management software and tools.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Primary responsibilities would be PC imaging depot tech – imaging PCs and performing PC repair. May also participate in inventory management, sourcing, packaging, shipping hardware to field services sites. Should be able to fall under the Job description used for Steven.
These people will be handling hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of equipment and will need to have a proven track record of organization to ensure nothing is lost or skipped over. They'll also need to possess an attention to detail to ensure all equipment is assessed and tracked accordingly.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
