Duties and Responsibilities Performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. + Manage and track the Agency Hardware and Software product lifecycle + Animate and coordinate the asset management process and activities across regions with identified local resources + Enter asset data such as hardware barcode information, serial numbers, or identification tags into Agency Inventory System database (AISDB) and ensure information is up-to-date, accurate, and auditable + Maintain and monitor hardware/software inventory database to ensure compliance and perform reconciliation as necessary + Collaborate to capture and centralize required asset related artifacts as well as configuration items + Identify customization of Asset Management Software based on operational requirements + Generate reports for analysis and quality control of assets + Explore opportunities for improving the utility of unused or partially used technology assets to achieve full efficiency and return on investment from assets + Investigate and resolve discrepancies and accuracy issues of the AISDB + Perform inventories and usage monitoring of all IT assets and record all findings, changes, physical location, and incidences of support + Generate, distribute, and review relevant management reports + Co-ordinate asset disposal activities with the warehouse staff and assist with the disposal process for all field site locations + Coordinate and oversee the receipt, inspection, proper application of barcode labels and acceptance of all items delivered to the FCC warehouse + Work closely with the asset manager / database administrator on issues of data accuracy and timeliness regarding the asset management tracking system (Bar-scan) + Assist the inventory (asset management) program manager with daily and periodic inventory related issues such as determine which asset to barcode and verifying asset nomenclature and serial number + Barcode assets and update locations as necessary + Backfill the database administrator for minor day to day activities, such as report generation of all outbound and inbound reports, performing Inventory database back-up on a daily basis and uploading scanner(s) to database to validate its data before passing it to the respective department / company + Assist customers in filling out company reporting forms (A-480, FCC102, FCC103, A-2000, and A-535) + Work closely with the annual inventory team on the 100% accuracy inventory of HQ and all field site’s locations + Responsible for reconciliation of assets after the initial wall to wall inventory + Other duties to be assigned. Requirements + HS Diploma/ GED + Minimum of 2 years inventory, logistics, material experience + Good computer skills + Must have good organizational skills and be detail oriented + Excellent communications skills + Works in a safe manner at all times + Strong familiarity and technical competence with asset management software and/or inventory-tracking systems - Knowledge of Sunflower, Barscan and Service Now is a plus + Confirmed solid understanding of current IT technologies + Proficient using Microsoft to compare and combine data from various sources + Strong written, oral, and communication skills (English is a must) + Experience at working both independently and in a collaborative environment is important + Persuasive, encouraging, respectful, and able to elicit collaboration from a wide variety of sources + Able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies + Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment + Ability to develop, comprehend, interpret, and align with company policies and procedures.
