Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY
Z Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, seeks an Asset Management Intern to support the coordination of Asset / Property Management activities within the Z modular Asset Management Department. Reporting to the Director of Asset Management, the intern will collaborate with other team members and third-party operators on tasks related to leasing, operations, and property maintenance for Z-Modular projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports communication with outside operators on a community-to-community basis to ensure performance tracking and compliance.Assists in monitoring community performance and prepares reports for management review.Coordinates documentation of leasing activities, including tracking leasing inquiries, compiling leasing data, and preparing leasing summaries.Provides administrative support for revenue tracking and cost control efforts, ensuring documents and files are up to date.Conducts preliminary market research and collects data on leasing trends to inform leasing strategies and community performance.Assists in preparing and distributing periodic performance reports and leasing updates to management and third-party operators.Monitors contracts and vendor agreements for key dates and budget alignment, flagging discrepancies for further review.Collects and organizes data for market research, including property comparisons and trend analysis.Tracks and reports on progress for capital improvement projects, collaborating with site teams to ensure timelines are met.Participates in team meetings and assists in summarizing action items for follow-up.Leads and promotes healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy.Performs other duties as they might be assigned.Adherence to the hybrid work policy with consistent on-site attendance as required.REQUIREMENTS
