You are leading the execution, identification, and mitigation of safety, external theft and fraud trends within a specific Campus. You lead the AP Specialists within your campus, including but not limited to: scheduling, prioritization, case building and overall performance management. This role will provide campus support focusing on reducing safety, risk, and loss. This role directly supports education and training in handling safety and external theft events, and the use of the Company Case Management and Reporting systems.
The AP Manager reports to the Area AP Manager (AAPM). This role regularly interacts with and influences Local Law Enforcement, diversion and outreach programs. Leads comprehensive and detailed investigations pertaining to habitual and aggressive offenders and provides expertise and partner with Law Enforcement to assist in case resolution. This role will represent the Company and will regularly interact and assist Prosecuting Attorney’s Offices to prosecute cases that meet State and Local standards.What You'll Do
o Support store leadership to develop and execute our Asset Protection strategy to mitigate safety, risk and loss at a select Gap Inc. campus within an AP AOR.
o Conduct investigations and utilize all available resources to identify and resolve theft/fraud activity in assigned location(s)
o Work with store personnel to identify safety, risk, and loss opportunities and recommend solutions
o Deploy appropriate Asset Protection resources (AP personnel, technology, etc.) to mitigate safety and loss opportunities
o Adapt team priorities to respond to customer and business partner needs
o Accountable for individual and team performance through teaching, coaching, and providing meaningful feedback to build capabilities
o Effectively lead Asset Protection initiatives to drives results, coach and develops direct reports, collaborate and lead execution through others
o Displays effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence and build consensus across multiple stakeholders and functions
o Ability to actively learn and immediately apply learnings into decisions and behaviors
o Time management and ability to prioritize /multi-task
o Ability to effectively identify issues and problem solve to work toward resolution in a timely manner.
