About the Role: As an Asset Protection/Security Manager at Curaleaf, you'll oversee security operations, manage vendor relationships, and safeguard company assets. Key responsibilities include security system management, training, inventory investigations, budget oversight, and help desk ticket coordination, ensuring a secure and efficient environment.

What You’ll Do: 

Manage and maintain security systems, including CCTV, access control, alarms, and fire safety equipment, while continuously evaluating and upgrading technology to stay ahead of emerging threats Develop and implement security training programs to ensure employees follow safety protocols, while continuously evaluating and providing development opportunities for security personnel Lead investigations into cash loss, inventory shrinkage, and security incidents, collaborating with law enforcement, internal audits, and external agencies to resolve cases and minimize losses Develop and manage the security department's budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and identifying opportunities for savings while maintaining optimal security Oversee the security-related help desk ticket system, ensuring timely issue resolution and proper documentation, while collaborating with IT to enhance system efficiency Select and manage security guard vendors, ensuring high standards of professionalism, training, and performance, while continuously monitoring and improving vendor effectiveness Develop and maintain emergency response plans to ensure the safety of employees and visitors, coordinating with local authorities and emergency services as needed Establish and enforce security policies to ensure legal compliance, conduct regular audits to assess adherence and recommend improvements

What You’ll Bring:

5+ years of experience in security management, asset protection, or a related field You bring strong expertise in security systems, technology, and industry best practices You possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks You have a strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and safety and security standards

Even Better If:

You hold a bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice, or a related field You have previous cannabis experience
