Global Custody Operations has approximately 2,200 staff in 50 plus countries and budget of over $160mm, global revenue of $2bn with over 1,000 clients. Global Custody Operations is going through an exciting transformation with both operation and business strategy. The group is comprised of Asset Servicing, Transaction Management, Tax, Risk & Control and Operational Readiness.
**Job Purpose:**
This exciting role is to lead the Custody Processing Support (CPS) team across the NAM and LATAM footprint, which is a client facing role aligned under the wider Asset Services organization. Responsible for leading the execution of the strategy for the CPS function in Custody Operations and transforming the client experience to achieve best in class, whilst ensuring a strong control framework is adhered to.
The role requires the individual to have a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within Asset Servicing and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Excellent communication skills are required in order to negotiate internally and externally, often at a senior level. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions and generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions.
The individual will be responsible for the leadership and direct management of a diverse set of talent comprising of 25 people located in Tampa & New Jersey.
The individual will be accountable for the end results of the region and exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning as part of the strategic vision and direction. The CPS lead will be accountable for the delivery and execution of the Global Strategy, ensuring the performance of the region, objectives of Operations, the Business and our clients are executed to a high standard and in full accordance with regulatory and control requirements.
The successful candidate will report directly into the Regional Asset Servicing Head with global alignment to the Global CPS Lead and will be responsible for executing the Global CPS strategy into the region.
**Organizational Oversight:**
+ Lead the Custody Processing Support function across the NAM and LATAM footprint.
+ Timely execution of the global strategy across the NAM/LATAM region in partnership with global CPS teams, demonstrating ongoing tangible delivery.
+ Drive solutions and track progress with metrics resulting in client satisfaction and service levels to ensure best in class service, establishing an ops framework to identify themes, remediation plans and track performance.
+ Manage client relationships and demonstrate competence in improving and turning around relationships at risk; seek and create the best possible solutions for clients requiring customized services, greater efficiencies, timeliness, and overall quality of services performed.
+ Recommends and implements systems and procedural enhancements for Asset Servicing
+ Liaises with internal and external clients to assess service quality and identify areas for improvement.
+ Provide support across Asset Servicing specific to Corporate Action and international and domestic Income Voluntary and Mandatory events.
+ Demonstrates advanced understanding of Asset Servicing operations combined with a comprehensive understanding of how own area Integrates with other departments to contribute towards achieving business objectives.
+ Hold or attend client conference call meetings and or in-person meetings.
+ Hold or participate on conference meetings with international or US Custodians and Transfer Agents regarding Corporate Action or Dividend events.
+ Partner with regional peers to achieve global consistency to processes and controls.
+ Communicate and implement ops & business strategy, performance, and priorities.
+ Deliver high quality, consistent and meaningful executive reporting, and analytics to identify trends and themes.
+ Hire, develop and reward staff based upon meritocracy and promote collaboration and diversity. Identify and develop high performers.
+ Presents, analyzes, and validates data to develop valued added solutions to increase productivity and efficiencies.
+ Senior point of contact for the CPS organization in region across internal and external stakeholders

**Qualifications and Skills:**
+ 10+ years of experience Senior to advanced level experience in a related role with commensurate experience in people management
+ Experience in management with Banking and Financial Institutions Broad understanding of opportunities that exist within Financial Services and significant experience in Corporate Banking
+ Demonstrated success dealing with management.
+ Ability to demonstrate and apply comprehensive understanding of concepts and procedures Ability to exhibit strong and influential communication skills with a senior level audience (internally/externally)
+ Demonstrated understanding of industry Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a leader who can positively and productively add product impact to both strategic and tactical technology.
+ Strong, influential communicator who is articulate and concise.
