AYCO Financial Counseling (AYCO)
Goldman Sachs Ayco Financial Counseling (Ayco) partners with Fortune 1000 companies to design and implement tailored financial planning programs for their workforce— leveraging the 50-year heritage of Ayco and the comprehensive resources of Goldman Sachs to meet the evolving needs of their employees. Ayco believes companies best serve their stakeholders and the greater economy when their employees’ financial lives are clear, understood and in their control. Ayco advisors and technical specialists help clients achieve their personal financial goals through education and guided implementation across seven key financial disciplines, including employee benefit planning.

Wealth Management Professionals work directly with our clients to provide exceptional client service, operational support and risk management. The primary function of this position is to provide comprehensive support to Goldman Sachs Ayco Advisors and client accounts, including issue-spotting and generating investment ideas to assist the Advisor. An Analyst may also be responsible for oversight of daily workflow and other supervisory related tasks.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work closely with Goldman Sachs Ayco Advisors to support their clientsLeverage your operational background and experience to contribute to a growing businessProactively anticipate, determine and recommend solutions to meet client needs and/or resolve issues surrounding investment related transactionsManage cash balances and private banking services in accountsRespond to questions from clients, Ayco account managers and their teams relating to client accountsResolve time sensitive client service-related issues, including complex situationsFacilitate and execute transactions in accordance with client and Advisor instructions and consistent with internal policies and procedureProvide overview of client reporting and web capabilities to potential new clientsPlan and manage new account on boarding processMay lead a group of Analysts and provide oversight for workflow, tasks and act as a resource for escalated issuesPerform any and all additional duties as assigned by the Managing Director and/or Ayco Management team

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree requiredSeries 7 & 63 required, or must be obtained within 4 months of hireInterest in Financial Services IndustrySelf-motivated and able to work in an autonomous, yet collaborative environment.Must have demonstrated the ability to be detail-oriented, self-motivated and capable of working in a team environment.Strong interest in client serviceDemonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office programs (ex. Outlook, Excel and Word)

Salary Range 
The expected base salary for this Albany, New York, United States-based position is $50000-$75000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
