Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Accounting
The Jack C. Massey College of Business at Belmont University is seeking
applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant
Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor beginning August 1, 2026.
Applicants from all accounting disciplines are welcome.
Primary Duties and Job Responsibilities
Applicants are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate accounting courses
required of the undergraduate major, the Master of Accountancy, and the MBA
programs. Additional responsibilities include academic advising, student
mentoring, scholarly activity, and college and university service appropriate
for the appointed rank.
Preferred qualifications include a completed doctorate in accounting or a terminal degree in a related field, professional experience, and teaching experience in higher education. ABD candidates will also be considered, but the doctorate must be completed before the position's start date.

Belmont’s Jack C. Massey College of Business is AACSB accredited in both
Business and Accounting and is one of the fastest growing colleges in the
university. Our programs enroll approximately 1,000 undergraduate
