Newmont North America operations are located in British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec with roles in operations, projects, and exploration.  Regional Support is provided from our office in Vancouver.

Your Impact

You will be the cornerstone of office operations and people support, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and engaging work environment that empowers employees and strengthens workplace culture.

As part of Our Team, You Will: Greet and assist visitors while managing incoming calls and inquiries.Coordinate office logistics, including mail, access cards, and maintenance.Plan and organize events, from catering to tech setup.Support the People team with onboarding, data management, and special projects.Maintain confidential records and assist with reports on people metrics.Lead health and safety initiatives as a key committee member.Leading new hire and transfer orientationsDeveloping formal documents to be shared across the organizationEngagement with Social committee and accountable for delivering desired outcomes of the teamLeveraging the internal ERP system to submit, modify, and track, service orders, purchases etc. Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role: High school diploma (post-secondary in Business or HR is a plus).3 years of administrative or executive assistant experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event coordination.Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.Customer service mindset and adaptability to changing needs.Your Work Environment: Vibrant office in Vancouver with modern amenities.Minimum of 4 days expected on-site, with 1-day remote work flexibility.Collaborative, inclusive, and fast-paced workplace.Opportunities to grow and make a meaningful impact on employee experiences.

The expected salary range for this role is CAD $ 70,992.00 - $88,740.00 with additional 10% Short-term incentive target. This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.  The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s pay history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about pay history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
