POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Assistant, Public Relations undertakes various departmental tasks in the execution of Public Relations strategies and activities, to ensure that City of Dreams Manila and its facilities are “top of mind” in media and market players. The duties include administrative tasks that would help enhance the publicity efforts for the property, coordination with other business units and external service providers, responsibility for the proper handling of the department’s cash float. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.    Obtains manpower and equipment lists from requesting media for video and photo shoots.
2.    Secures necessary permits for the photo and video shoots of requesting media and other photo activities to be initiated by the department.
3.    Assists in the photo and video shoot of media and any PR-related productions.
4.    Executes requests and forms for Gift Certificates for media birthdays, Christmas and special occasions, raffle prizes and as may be needed for Public Relations purposes.
5.    Consolidates invitees list for various PR media and other events. 
6.    Coordinates with accredited messenger and courier service, or in-house transportation for the delivery of Public Relations gifts and documents.
7.    Maintains the department’s cash float and replenishment.
8.    Assists the department’s officers in maintenance of the annual budget by monitoring  monthly expenses for the P&L
9.    Assists in consolidating content, such as media monitoring figures and key social media coverage for the monthly COD Manila Public Relations Report and monthly PR Nobu Report issued by the Director, Public Relations.
10.    Summarizes media values of various coverages per event/PR angle on a monthly basis, to be extracted from the Media monitoring company’s reports.
11.    Maintains and update Public Relations Drive content in coordination with  Assistant Manager, Public Relations.
12.    Monitors Media tab of incoming emails in COD Website and direct these to the attention of Assistant Manager and Director.
13.    Assists in the documentation and payment processing of external photographers and accredited external service providers.
14.    Updates Media List and Directory of key media contacts. 
15.    Records all media enquiries to refer to the department’s officers.
16.    Liaises with media monitoring agencies on logistics and preparation of regular reports.
17.    Maintains a file of at least 3 updated Press Kits ready at any time.
18.    Performs tasks and/or fulfill responsibilities that may be assigned by management and/or the Vice President, Public Relations, the Director, Public Relations and Assistant Manager, Public Relations, as the business operations require.

QUALIFICATIONS:

I    Experience
1.    Must have at least a year’s experience in office work
2.    Preferably with experience in multi-media, in the casino or hospitality industry.

II    Education 

BA degree, preferably in marketing, communications, journalism, hotel and restaurant, or t equivalent.

III    Skills / Competencies 

1.    Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Filipino
2.    Excellent in application of Excel, Word and other office applications.
3.    Good time management skills and good team player.
4.    Good business acumen and a high level of initiative.
5.    Detail-oriented, self-motivated, highly result-oriented, able to work and manage projects independently.
6.    Ability to multitask, prioritize and problem-solve.
7.    Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills.
