Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities You will function as the office clerical or administrative support position in the branch. Provides a variety of secretarial and clerical support functions. You will be responsible for the preparation and generation of correspondence and/or forms (e.g., letters, memorandums, e-mails, etc.) in accordance with guidelines of the organization. You will review and update office procedures and analyze need for new procedures, independently determining approach and implementing processes. You will prepare and make travel arrangements for Branch personnel; review travel documents (e.g., vouchers, compensation time requests, etc.) to ensure accuracy. You will assist personnel with submission of travel authorizations and/or vouchers to ensure standardization/quality of travel procedures within the organization; and troubleshoot all travel program issues. You will utilize the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) Web Application to submit visit requests and obtain security clearance information for the Branch. You will provide support for coordination of data calls such as awards and promotions and shall coordinate meetings and prepare presentations materials as needed. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications NG-03 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band NG-02 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Coordinating administrative processes of personnel within all levels of the organization; minute keeping, generating reports and customer service. NG-02 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band NG-01 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting administrative processes of personnel within all levels of the organization. This position is in the Science & Technology Reinvention Laboratory (STRL) Human Resource Management System pay band for Department of Defense laboratories. The pay schedule and pay band for all General Support Positions will be NG-1/2/3/4/5. This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management. Vacancies filled from this announcement may be filled at any grade level listed. If selected below the full performance level, you may be noncompetitively promoted to the next higher grade level after meeting all regulatory requirements, and upon the recommendation of management.
