Assistant Account Executive

We are seeking an Assistant Account Executive for our Long-Term Care division.


Functions & Responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities include issuance of certificates of Insurance, ID cards, schedule of insurance.Assist in handling applications, endorsements, billing, updating policies and client contact follow up.Prepare proposals, policy summaries and reviewsProcess placement requests and invoicingLiaise with Accounting department on research and justification of premium charges as compared with endorsements and invoicesHandle or refer insured’s and underwriter’s questionsPerform other specific duties as directed by the Account ExecutiveRespond to service inquiriesProcess add/term requestsProvide assistance in managing renewal processFollow up with carriers to obtain outstanding informationUpdate internal reporting systems and internal databases (as necessary)works with Individual and small group insurance

Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years prior office experienceGood oral and written communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteNY P&C License preferred Familiar with Epic software a plus

Department Account Management & Service

Required Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: Negligible

Required Education: High school or equivalent
