Assistant Financial Accountant

What you will do:
Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for the following:
Producing accurate and timely financial reports Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations Intercompany invoicing Process improvements & Project work Overseeing Accounts Payable process Managing the employee expense reclaim process Assisting the Financial Controller with internal and external audits Assistance with tax filings and reporting (Corporate Tax & VAT)What you will need:
At least two years’ experience in a similar Finance role within Insurance OR a role within an Accountancy practice where your client base has included Insurance firms A self-motivated and organised approach to your work Strong communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships A willingness to “pitch in” and help out wherever is needed Ideally a Degree in a relevant discipline, and commitment to your ACCA/ACA/CIMA studies (if still ongoing)
