Wood is recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join rhi, their professional services consultancy and talent solutions business. The Assistant Accountant will provide effective administration and finance support, providing a positive customer experience and being able to take accountability for managing queries in a timely manner. 

This position is based in Aberdeen on a hybrid working basis.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, the Assistant Accountant will assist in the accurate financial reporting for rhi business line entities, ensuring all accounting entries are recorded in an accurate and timely manner. This involves the provision of timely reporting of financial data internally to business stakeholders and eternally to the client. Furthermore, financial reporting will extend to forecasts, budgets, together with ad-hoc financial analysis. The Assistant Accountant will ensure weekly contractors time and expenses are imported onto the finance system to ensure timely payment. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience of working in a busy finance team, providing exposure to a variety of projects.
