Assistant Administrative Coordinator

Fraser is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to provide administrative support to our Independent Living Homes. This position will focus on clerical and project-based work, with some customer service duties. 

Fraser operates five Independent Living apartment buildings in the Twin Cities metro area. The apartments are for adults with developmental disabilities, who are over age 18. The locations of these apartment sites are: Apple Valley, Bloomington, Hopkins, Minnetonka and Richfield. The Assistant Service Coordinator will provide administrative support at all sites.

***This is a Hybrid Remote position with Flexible schedule. Some travel to sites is necessary with reimbursement for travel.  

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support for the Property Manager and Service Coordinator Assist with rent collection, waitlist updates, and data entry Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office, with regular use of Word, Excel, and Publisher Perform general clerical duties including but not limited to: copying, faxing, mailing, filing, etc. Maintain databases on SharePoint Prepare outgoing correspondence for tenants and families  Communicate any tenant needs to the Service Coordinator and/or Property Manager for follow up Provide security support with camera monitoring as needed Understand Fire & Severe Weather procedures and assist with the execution during drills and actual events Order and maintain inventory of general office and activity supplies  Complete projects and tasks as assigned, including but not limited to: updating waitlists, updating tenant contact information, fundraising events, etc. Communicate maintenance needs with the Facilities team, initiate maintenance requests Take initiative in continued process improvement in conjunction with the Service Coordinator and Property Manager

Schedule & Pay: 

This position is working around 30 hours a week, between Monday - Friday standard business hours. Starting at $17.00 per hour +  $350 hiring bonus! 

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required, post-secondary education highly preferred Six months of professional experience working with people who have developmental disabilities or related conditions required, with one year or more of experience preferred Valid drivers license with acceptable record Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, and other certification as required Commitment to promoting diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion with focus on culturally responsive practice, internal self-awareness and reflection. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, Publisher and Outlook
